Yesterday afternoon, as I pulled on my running shoes, thunder rolled around the sky. A few minutes into my run, and little drops of rain started to fall. It was a lovely, light, steady rain, that cooled the air slightly, without making it cold. Smells of the earth and growing plants wafted in the air, and the most beautiful double rainbow I have ever seen filled the eastern sky. I just had to stop running for a minute to take this photo with my phone.

I always find running in the rain to be a pleasant experience, apart from the fact that you don't have to worry about how much you are sweating.
